I've had the pleasure of working closely with Kristi as a fellow front-end developer within Rightpoint's Product Development practice. Throughout our collaboration, I've witnessed Kristi's remarkable proficiency as a software engineer, characterized by her seamless adaptation to emerging technologies and patterns. I worked directly with Kristi Miller multiple times in my tenure as Architect at Rightpoint in front-end development. Kristi brought a great attitude, a great base skill level, and the skill to pick up new libraries and paradigms quickly for a disparate set of projects. Kristi also went above and beyond what was required of her to help her team members through pair coding and high-quality code reviews. I love everything about the greenfield project MatriMania, pitched by Kristi Miller during our time at Turing as a final capstone project. MatriMania is an application that connects it’s users into the mind of well established photographers and all the wisdom and clarity the photographers bring into preserving special moments, such as weddings. This team has established an app where photographers can partner with the people enjoying the party. And while it is an amazing tool for organizing and coordinating wedding crowds, it solves the novel and allusive problem: “I wish so and so was in this photo.” I get excited when I see the ways that an established and professional photographer such as Kristi can bring her empathy into the photo, the color palette, and - more importantly - the code.

Kristi's coding prowess is well renowned. Hearing as much as I have about how she's the go-to person if you need someone to look over this, or refactor that, it came as no surprise when our cohorts were joined that she brought that same strength to any meeting she was a part of. While we didn't technically work on a project together, in a way we did, as she was a constant lighthouse in the storm for the front end side of my team. "I was hanging out with Kristi working on this yesterday" was a common refrain from the rest of the front end cohort. In small morning standups, she would bring her wit and empathy, as well as clever advice. Kristi's presence would bolster any team that would be lucky enough to have her.

Kristi works harder than most people I know. When something needs to get done, Kristi will step up and take control thanks to her dedication, organizational skills, and desire to see things through till the end. I have worked with Kristi on multiple projects and on each one she's been a delight to work with. Her friendly demeanor, communication, collaboration skills, and eye for design and details makes her a valuable project mate. If I was or am struggling with UX/UI design/styled components/anything CSS related, Kristi is my go-to source for help.

Kristi brings strength, composure, and creativity to the groups she works with. Kristi was one of my teammates in a particularly challenging refactoring project. Working with her gave our group a solid sense of direction where we always knew what we were doing. She is thoughtful with her words and actions, and made the project all the more enjoyable and exciting to take on.

Kristi is a valuable asset to any creative team. I have yet to meet a more thorough photo editor. Every marketing project Kristi worked on ended up looking exactly how she planned it to and her patience with even the most painstaking of projects seemed to be endless.

Not only is Kristi a great photo editor but she is innovative and original. She can turn dry, boring information into something eye-catching and exciting. She has a knack for finding great ways to connect with her target market.
